On the way back from Asheville I stopped at an ingles in Greenville, sc. I stopped there because most ingles have a salad bar where i can get some healthy food minus mayonnaise and a ton of sugar. Its that or fast food. So I walk in and they didnt have that. No big deal. I walked over to look at the deli stuff where they have trays of food. Everything was mixed up with tons of mayonnaise. I dry heaved just a tad. Ham n bacon salad is not a salad when its ham bacon and mayo... So I walked to the fresh produce. It looked anemic. Hardly anything. I asked a guy working there if they had avocados. He told me they dont carry avocados and looked at me funny... I ended up buying some bananas and some nuts. My thing is this... This country is eating worst and worst. Im not perfect and nor do I eat healthy all the time but its just sad when people dont have the option and really dont stand a chance... USDA and FDA are a load of crap!
