On the weekend before my run at Phillip Island we were in Ararat for Round 6 of the Natures Organics Victorian Hillclimb Championship. It was another fantastic weekend away and the track never disappoints! Unfortunately the Laser isnt best suited to the One Tree Hill track but that doesnt stop us from having a good time! Still, I managed to record a new PB some 1.4 seconds quicker, and while the first place getter was 3.7sec off in the distance, second and third were only 1.3 and 1.1sec ahead, so that was encouraging! Many thanks must go to the Team Grocery Getters crew - a great bunch of people who always make events like this so much fun, and of course to the Ararat Car Club for putting on yet another cracker event.
