On this 7th Thankful Day I am oh so thankful for my family, eapecially my 96 year old father, who remains healthy, active, and a positive thinker. He and Cindy are leaving tomorrow for the coast and then dad will fly out of Sea-Tac airport for home in Tepic, Mexico. I have been so blessed to have him a total of 3 months this summer, but it is time for him to go back. It is getting too cold for him here. This is the latest he has ever stayed with us and he is feeling the weather. So I have been busy today making him his favorite things. French toast for breakfast, left over spare ribs and twice baked potatoes for lunch (leftover from dinner last night), a made from scratch, pumpkin pie, and moose steaks for dinner. I am shedding a few tears because the future is so uncertain but I am really trying hard to stay in the live each moment as it is given mode. I pray for a safe journey for them and a peaceful landing in Mexico. I will miss you until you safe return home Daddy. I LOVE YOU!!!
