On this Thanksgiving day, I am very thankful for Brianna Stevenss - TopicsExpress

On this Thanksgiving day, I am very thankful for Brianna Stevenss efforts to save my new buddy, Jasper, and Arizona Animal Welfare League & SPCAs taking him in so I could find him and give him a warm home. Jaspers Story as told by his rescuer: Jasper was with his old owner since he was 6 months old. He was being given away at a Frys or something and he took him. But, it was never good. He never paid attention to him, constantly beat him for doing something wrong, even to the point where he would just hide all the time. And he would let his nails get real long where he couldnt walk. Then on FB, he posted free dog, IDC where he goes, but he needs to go now or I will have him euthanized at pound tomorrow so I texted him and told him I would take him. When I met him he had a rope tied around his neck and just threw Jasper into my car. When I got home, Jasper wouldnt even leave the kitchen. He stood there all night and cried and shook. I was finally able to pet him the next morning, and thats when I took him to the AAWL. The man didnt want him anymore because he got a new puppy, a not-spayed female Shepherd mix. Her name was Nissi. (AAWL later named her Ava.) But, Jasper would go after her and pee everywhere and just be a typical unuetered male, so he got rid of him for it. Then, a couple weeks later I went an picked up Ava because he wanted to abandon her too. He also gave me a 3-week old kitten that he just found, but Im sure there was a story to that top. Thankfully, AAWL took all 3 and I ended up fostering and adopting the cat lol.
