On this #WorldAIDSDay, we think about how far we have come nearly 35 years into the global #HIV/#AIDS epidemic. Not so long ago, hospital beds were filled with dying patients, while others lay dying on the floor. Thankfully, due to our strong partnerships and collective efforts, globally, new HIV infections have dropped by half since the peak of the epidemic and life expectancy has rebounded dramatically. We have reached a critical moment in time where we are close to controlling the epidemic. We are closer than we have ever been before. If we work together, an #AIDSFreeGen is within our reach! #WAD2014
