On this anniversary of the day that made a large portion of this country lose its collective mind I would wish you all a break from your fear, and a plea to put the terrorist threat in perspective. The President gave an address last night about defeating our enemy currently terrorizing the country we broke. There was no mention of the true threat to American freedom, democracy and its citizens: the corporate control of our government and their systematic subligation and disenfranchisement of the poor. Are we safer from terrorism? Not really, but its also a rare and not imminent threat. We have been conditioned over the last three and 1/2 decades to accept this new power paradigm that grants personal rights to the corporations that have waged a silent coup of our government. Stop believing the lies told to you by the 24 hour news media. They have no interest in you beyond your ability to turn on the television and keep their ad revenue flowing and to sell you boneheaded books by their celebrity pundits. Weve all been scammed. Fight the real terrorists. Think for yourself and pursue real information. I love you all and genuinely hope that we eventually take this country away from those only interested in their own profits. Lets create an informed populace that can identify where were actually hemmoraging our freedom, privacy and ability to pursue our happiness. The game is rigged. Lets do something about it and finally honor those who have lost and risked their lives in the attacks themeselves and the dishonest and shamefully profit-motivated reactions/claimed reactions that followed the event and took advantage of a shaken populace. Stop letting the terrorists win by letting them terrorize you into supporting the same failed policies that have been cursing us for, again, 3 1/2 decades. This is not a partisan post. Every president since the election of Reagan has done their part to further this fascist agenda of this eventual corporate takeover and rule. Help us all. Protect your families. There are many who will disagree with me, but I only ask that you take a look at your history and identify the threats that face you today. I thank you all for your time and wish you all the best on this tragic anniversary.
