On this beautiful Christmas Day, our family has so much to be thankful for. We are home as a family enjoying one of my favorite days of the year... the birth of Christ our Savior. Its the kids favorite holiday too! There are many presents under the tree and the kids will love unwrapping every one of them. But the best gifts dont come wrapped up under the tree. Each one of my precious kids is a gift from God. As a society we take for granted the gift of good health and the gift of life. These are gifts that can be taken from us so quickly and unexpectedly. Please pray for the families who are not able to be together this Christmas season and for the kids who have to spend this holiday in a hospital room. Pray especially for the families who have gained an angel in Heaven. They have to celebrate this special day without their son/daughter or sister/brother and I cant imagine how painful that must be. We are so thankful for how far Julia has come since last year. We were home for Christmas a year ago, but she had just finished her 2nd round of high dose chemo. She still hadnt lost weight at that point. It wasnt until after the 3rd round that the chemo started to take a toll on her body. We are so thankful to have all of you in our lives. This past year, I have met so many amazing people and some of them have turned into friendships that will last a lifetime! Thank you for everything youve done to help our family in any way. Thank you for your donations, your wonderful gifts, and your thoughts and prayers. Just like we should open our hearts and home to Jesus today and every day, you have all opened your hearts to our family day after day. We are so blessed to have each and every one of you in our lives. We hope you have a very Merry Christmas! May the joy and peace of Christs birth be with you always.
