On this day 28 years ago my sister and my family were blessed with ....well....what we thought was a pretty ugly baby boy. What we didnt know at the time was what an amazing young man, son, husband, father, uncle, nephew, grandson, soldier and friend this boy would turn into. A man that understands what is important in life. A man that stills opens car doors for his bride. A man that is as beautiful on the inside as he is handsome (thank God) lol on the outside. A man who adores his family, friends and dogs ferociously. A man that craves a hug and a quick call with his Aunt Bean. A man who has chosen to not only defend his country but continues to sacrifice his time to help those in need while serving in the national guard. A man who carried the football and ran like the wind for the Bears. I do not think there is anyone who has crossed paths with this young man who has not come away from the encounter having been positively influenced by his character. I know I have. Today my family lovingly celebrates his bday each in our own way from afar in terms of distance in miles but never far away from our hearts. Happy every day Bobhead but especially today. I wish you a fun 28th bday filled with Lucas laughter, Amy love, and Leo and Aldo tail waggin. I love you and I am so incredibly proud of the man you have become. Well done young man. Well done.
