On this day I am thankful for the bumbling idiot that tried to - TopicsExpress

On this day I am thankful for the bumbling idiot that tried to steal my car last night. Yes I accidentally left the extra keys in my coat pocket & left said coat in the backseat. But I wasnt nearly as stupid as some fool who found them. Whomever the culprit, they wish they had known that to start the car one would have to press the gas pedal allllll the way down for about 45 seconds before it will stay started. Then even after that it will not move forward one teeny tiny bit until it gets warmed up. But regardless of all that if the buffoon did manage to get it started being that it was the middle of the night & considering the fact that I NEED a muffler the whole neighborhood would have been peering out their windows wondering where Im going & why did I choose to go in middle of the night. So from this day forward I will no longer refer to my vehicle as a hooptie since the aforementioned hooptie is still mine & in my possession. And because this creature of the night deserves an award from Americas Dumbest Criminals I will be gracious enough to inform them that you could have taken the key with you if only you shifted the gear back to park...the P is for park. But thanks for not knowing that & leaving it in drive whereby the key could not be removed!! Thank you dear heavenly Father for grace & favor because I know it was you that stepped in right on time. After my initial panic I notice that I just needed to put it in park start it up & go on to work. I hope they were somewhere watching & wondering how I just got right in & went about my day. O & last but not least I hope they get some use out of my fuzz balled old coat. I have the button that came off last week if they want it because the 2 that are left are on the verge of falling off too! #droppingthemic&exitingstageleft
