On this day...I was out on my porch, painting lattice we needed to use & you had to go to court where someone had hit your truck and didnt pay...it was raining so hard that morning, but ended up being a beautiful day although it was very humid!!! One if our groomsmen was late, in fact, he walked in right before I did!! Another groomsman had to leave right after the ceremony, so hes not in many of the pictures. Our isle runner ripped, they couldnt get some of the candles lit...and our car was filled with balloons!! We didnt have money to go anywhere big for a honeymoon, so we just went to Charleston, thinking there was no need for reservations...but we were wrong!! Between boat regattas & class/family reunions, I thought the only thing left was Smileys Motel & we refused to stay there!!! Thankfully we found a brand new hotel that had just been open a few months and we stayed there! All that taught us, to expect the unexpected...laugh about the little stuff...and no matter how much preparing or planning you do, nothing is ever perfect, but thats ok!!! Now, today, we celebrate 21 years of marriage!!! Its not always been easy, weve had many problems along the way...and Ill take the blame for many of those problems...but throughout all the troubles and trials, in the end, you have always stuck with me!!! I know its not always been easy, but I sure am grateful for you!!! I know I say this all the time, but I really mean it when I say youre my best friend!!! You aggravate me, pester me, annoy and ignore me like no one else could...and I nag you, argue with you, and ask you to do a lot...but I couldnt imagine being annoyed, or arguing with, anyone else but you!!!! Lol. I love you more than you can imagine & Im very proud to be your wife!!! I appreciate everything you do!!! So...Happy Anniversary Babe...21 years married...24 years together total! Thank you for loving me!!! Aint no point in giving up on me now!!! Lol.
