On this day (Sept. 28) in 1976: A&M Records sued George Harrison for $10 million over non-delivery of his new album, 33 1/3, after he missed the deadline by two months; A&M had a contract with George to be the distributor of his new label, Dark Horse Records; the lawsuit was settled with a $4 million payment by George, & the album camed out on Warner Brothers instead (ironically, the album contained This Song, which satirized a previous lawsuit over Georges song My Sweet Lord...)
