Produced by James Harris III, Terry Lewis & Shep Pettibone, it is recorded at Flyte Tyme Studios in Minneapolis, MN from August - October 1985, remixed from Early - Late 1986. it is the first compilation album by the R&B and pop star. The eight track album features remixes of tracks from the Control album remixed by Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, engineer Steve Hodge, and DJ/remixer Shep Pettibone. Though the compilation will only be issued in the UK and Japan (as More Control), all of the tracks will be released individually in the US on 12 singles with the exception of Lets Wait Awhile which is issued as a 7 (#1 R&B, #2 Pop). One of the highlights of the set is a dramatically remixed version of Nasty, subtitled The Cool Summer Mix, which is released as a two part 12 single clocking in at over eighteen minutes combined. The albums success in the UK will lead singer George Michael to contact Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis about working together. The trio will remake the Faith album track Monkey (#1 Pop).
