On this day, many years ago, I married the guy who made me fall off the couch the first time I laid eyes on him. At the time, neither of us had an interest in meeting someone. He was there for the food and I was, well, just there. I had just had a back fusion a few weeks prior and was visiting my Aunt in NY. I was sitting on the couch with my hair pulled up on top my head, bike shorts (early nineties) and a Gucci tee, no makeup. He walked in the room with a black shirt, black jeans, black boots, hair dark, skin tan and the prettiest green eyes I had ever seen. I fell off the couch! I looked up,put my finger up and said, Excuse me! I quickly ran into the bathroom and out came the mascara! I fluffed up my poof on my head, composed myself and walked in the room. Before he could say anything, I pointed to the direction where I came and said, Oh her, that was my sister. He just smiled that beautiful smile and he had me from there. Happy Anniversary, My Love.
