On this day one year ago which was one of the HAPPIEST days of my life... After battling two different diagnosis of the lungs- Bronchaetasis & cf. I received a phone call from one of my pulmonary doctors giving me the best news I had ever heard! She said how would you feel if I told you we found a donor?... I said omg ma they found a donor and the lungs are in Im scheduled to be there at 4:30 a.m.... my heart had literally dropped. I was so excited that was my chance to live again and breathe easy; no more oxygen, breathing machine while I sleep, no more sleep apnea, no more carrying around oxygen tanks... NEW LUNGS!!!! 10 days after being listed now thats what you call Blessed and HIGHLY favored... I have been given chance after chance to live life because God is NOT done with me yet; after being lost on the hospital bed and operating table more than one I know God has so much in store for me. Theres definitely a plan and a purpose. Life has not been easy many of you know this already. Being 19 dealing with the sickness was very hard for me I tried my best to still live life to the fullest. I never let it keep me down even though it took a turn for the worst I still fought a good fight thats why I dont look like what Ive been through... Health issues can affect you emotionally & physically... I thank God for a praying family, friends & church. You never know what your body is dealing with stay on top of your health, get regular check ups! Its real. Dont wait until its too late. I was healthy as a child diagnosed at age 19.
