On this day two years ago (June 25th, 2012) I first touched down in this amazing city they call Buenos Aires. I had gotten fed up with what I was doing before, had no idea what to do next, always wanted to spend some time living abroad. I came down here with a return ticket for six months later and a vague plan to teach English. That moment of breaking away from the beaten path, just because como no?, was simultaneously terrifying and liberating. I had no idea what Id end up doing after those six months. No drawn-out speech but suffice it to say that was the best decision I ever made and here I am two years later with no plans to leave. Ive made friends with locals and people from all over the world, many of whom have come and gone back to wherever they were from. A handful of people, in particular, both local and foreign.. have made this the most amazing, crazy, high, low, everywhere in between, fun, scary, painful and exhilarating two years of my life. Thanks to all of you who have been a part this journey here in Bs As and made it what it has been, and to my amazing, supportive family back home. I dont need to tag all of you rock stars, you know who you are. Now, time to watch my adopted country take 9 points in the group... VAMOS CARAJO!
