On this frigid December 9th, Lees Summit R-7 Grounds workers prepared the bed and planted scrubs, grasses, and perennials in the 2014 Adopt A Spot at Campbell Middle School on Colbern Road. Many thanks to the five brave workers who planted in 27 degree weather this morning. Students will be in charge of maintaining their spot under the supervision of BCMS staff. We cant wait to see it bloom and grow this Spring and Summer! This project was approved, funded, and assisted by the Beautification Commission and the LS Parks Department. Now thats cooperation and teamwork!
