On this morning 17 years ago, my dearly departed best man Lester Bridges Sr. asked me if I was sure. I told him I had never been as sure about anything in my life. 7 years years later on that same day our dearly departed friend Shannon Barrett, who introduced us, passed untimely on our 7th anniversary. Cant believe that has been a decade already. Time is slipping through my fingers faster than water I feel. I used to tease Shannon that I didnt know whether to thank her or punch her for introducing me to this person who she had introduced me to! But in hindsight, if I could see her now - Id kiss her and tell her that she introduced me to the only person in the whole wide world who could stay married to my mother for 17 years (except my father, who did 20 years hard time - but I still say I am not nearly as difficult as mother was to live with!). Happy Anniversary Trisha Korbobo Bell. Youve brought me highs and lows over the years, but its been a really nice ride.
