On this second day of the Memorial Day weekend, west-central Texas will continue to be the focus of possible severe thunderstorms and flash flooding. This is due to an upper-level low approaching very slowly from the southern Rockies. The main activities should then move eastward slightly toward northern/central Texas on Memorial Day. By Tuesday, the heavy rain and thunderstorms should drift into eastern Texas. The latest WPC Day 1 National Forecast Chart will be updated by 5pm EDT. wpc.ncep.noaa.gov/national_forecast/natfcst.php?day=1
