On this somber day, the Alhambra Police Department had fifteen officers that made the trip to New York to attend the burial services of New York Police Officer Wenjian Liu. As you may recall Officer Wnijian Liu was shot to death in his police car with his partner Rafael Ramos on December 20, 2014. The officers represented the city, the profession, and the department. In this time of uncertainty and civil unrest, it is reassuring knowing that so many people respect what police do every day and are there to support us in our time of need.
