On this the 2nd day of October, 2013 By Arturo Cortez “The Republican Congressional Outhouse” Story telling is a wonderful way of forming a constructive dialoged between friends, family and the world; so I will tell you a true story of my time in 1963, of my life in a farm labor camp in Ohio tomato country America of that time. But, first I would like to say to the leaders of my country today there is “no negotiation” when POTUS of human kind has said so. Negotiation requires two whereas, one cuts the pie and the other has first pick. The US Republican Congress of today has eaten the pie and refuses to pay their bill, the government shuts down and the none believers of American government show their teeth, while the American human of mankind requires affordable health care, On a day much like today only the year was1963, Ricardo Cortez my brother, family and I spent a summer in a Ohio farm labor camp. The labor camp experience is a very special place in my life whereas me as the salt of the earth, alien to the earth in my own world. Shortly after we arrived that same night 2 drunks walk between the cabins pounding on the cabin wall all the way back to the out house, the next day their was a rumor threw out the camp that if we paid a little something the pounding on the cabin walls would stop. After the third night, Ricardo and I decided what we would do something to stop the pounding so we moved the outhouse 3 feet back, about 10 minutes later their was yelling and stuff going on but Ricardo and I snored right threw that, as I recall now in the autumn years of my time, I don’t think we heard pounding on cabin walls after that, Si se Puede, “now is the time for Immigration Reform, “que viva mi gente unida”
