On todays walk home from the boys art camp, Everett was showing - TopicsExpress

On todays walk home from the boys art camp, Everett was showing off the red power ring hed created for his ring finger, which he used to summon invisible crime-fighting red pandas. This was well-timed; I had him summon several to eat up a patch of highly invasive carnivorous bamboo that was disguising itself as grass. Later, a nearby parking meter asked me for the name of the architect whod designed the clay castle Donovan was holding; Dov allowed as how the work was his own, but said he wasnt able to design castles large enough for parking meters to host parties in, even if paid in chocolate coins. Soon after that, Everett was worrying, because there were black tar spots on the sidewalk, which I thought were maybe splashed blacktop from recent roadwork, but I told him he didnt have to eat the black spots this time, and everyone was happy. On Wednesday the conversation on the walk home consisted entirely of the phrases Its too hot! and Its too sunny! and Please, boys, please lets get home and get inside then. I would like to thank the weather for improving my parenthood skills today.
