On which Horizon is Americas Future? An important message from the 34th president of the United States, Dwight D. Eisenhower. He warns us of the misuse of power that will come from corporate influence that controls our military for profit, with the excuse of freedom. We cant continually ignore the facts and prosper as a nation. Defense contractors do not protect this nation, they always seem to operate on foreign soil. Keeping the fight away from America should not mean attacking a country that has never attacked or has no imminent plan to attack us, or fabricating lies as an excuse so defense contractors can make massive amounts of money, and surely not forming death squads in South America to profit from the trafficking of cocaine, heroin and resource distribution. Eisenhowers speech is the most relevant speech to our current situation from a former president. There will come a time, and it is already happening, where Americans will no longer quote a Constitution that does not protect them nor will they believe in a Preamble that has long since been forgotten because of the deteriorating state of our Republic and the destruction of our freedoms. The same goes for law enforcement. Quit acting like you are the savior of humanity by upholding the statutes of the corrupt Legislative and Judicial branches.
