Once again African Americans have been told that the lives of black men young and old have very little value. Each and every time a unarmed black men is kill there seems to be no accountability. Those in law enforcement seem unable to address the unarmed murders committed by white officers against black men. It just seems stranger to me that Black Officers never seem to find themselves in similar situations. As a African American and one who listens to the news often; I have yet to hear a case where a black officer has murdered an unarmed white male. It is my belief, if it would happen he would be charged and convicted. It is not at all acceptable that African Americans can still be murdered in this fashion. With the advent of video and social media; we are initiated by police doing inhuman things to African Americans. My soul as an American is truly hurt. I cant see any commitment to change. White America seem more than willing to accept and believe that the actions of these officers are correct. Each and every time this happens it keeps the American Dreams only available to White Americans. Black men should have the right to walk the streets of American without being unjustly shoot. If Michael Brown committed a crime he should have been arrested. If he deserved to be shoot because of his response to being stopped that to is understandable; but being gunned down in the street with his hands raised is not acceptable. His body laying on the ground for hours in such an inhuman manner is unacceptable. African Americans deserve to be protected from White Police Officers that are unable to control the evil that exist in their hearts. Where and when will change come for all Americans; not just White Americans. The lives of Black American children are just as valuable as those of White Americans. Black American Mothers dont want to bury their children any more than White American Mothers want to bury theirs. The cries of pain continue to fall on deaf ears. The blood of Black American males will continue to stain the street without change.
