Once again I am blown away by Gods care. Last night in the midst of my panic reaction over an unexpected situation, I asked God if it was really the right step I took to do my CD album as it really did take up a fair bit of my resources. (Just to make it clear, I did plan & prepare for the CDs commitments). My question was not out of an attitude of regret at all but more of the need for God to reassure me that He is directing my steps and this is in His will. I didnt even utter God give me a sign. But God definitely heard my thoughts, interpreted my tears and the read the depths of my heart. Today, I received three confirmations - all totally random. The first one was at about 10am through an sms from a totally unexpected person. The person expressed how one of the songs ministered an unexpected but much needed breakthrough. I was so so deeply touched. The second confirmation came half an hour later was when I visited a friend in hospital. This person randomly shared how playing my cd in the hospital room after the surgery brought about a sense of Gods peace. The third confirmation came in the form of a postcard. I was prompted to check my mailbox today (I hadnt checked it in a while) and it was a postcard from a sweet friend in China! My friend expressed how the songs & lyrics have touched her. And not only her but her seeking friend as well. And the friend has become more open as a result. I am blown away by Gods kindness and care. I am grateful that these three people took the step to obey the prompting they had to write the sms, express their thoughts verbally & send the postcard. They have been instruments God used to bless & encourage me greatly. These three episodes reminded me again of this verse: ...your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. So don’t worry about tomorrow...(Matthew 6:32-34 NLT) Be still my soul...
