Once again, I would like to tell you that years ago I made deep research about the American architect Eric Owen Moss who was the dean of Architecture in Harvard uni. and the husband of the well-known model Kate Moss. This architect has a very special design language. He depends on a mythical scheme in setting the concept. In Culver city in LA he was entrusted to reurban and upgrade this important district which includes the Kodac theatre of Oscar rewards. He always designs a rectangle shape then implants his secret in it. More than 8 projects in this district he applied his concepts. He recalled the myths of Mayan Mythology who was valuable civilization inhabited this part of the world. In each one of his projects, he implants a secret related to Mayan narratology. This time in this office building and parking lot he decided to design 9 irregular boxes flowing on one rectangle shape. He always chooses the rectangle to be his story board then draws his story. The secret here is no. 9 Why 9 ? The answer the 9 Gods of Maya who differentiated in their power therefore he used 9 metal box frames different in shapes.
