Once again another big milestone:we have hit the 300 cards mark!!! bravo team Kenya Bird Map... We now have 55 observers sending in their bird sightings. This builds up to 302 cards and 14496 records seen in 125 pentads. We surely have proven that we can get it done, let us all get challenged to send in some birding lists and put our print on the Kenyan bird atlas.... Once you have done birding, indicate the location/pentad/GPS coordinates, and indicate the end of each hour; then submit the list to the map. You can do this in many ways: 1. by filling in the data sheet online on the Kenya Bird Map website (kenyabirdmap.adu.org.za). Website guidelines are available. 2. by completing a hardcopy Field Data Sheet (available at the Kenya Bird Map office) and posting it to: Kenya Bird Map, Nature Kenya, P.O. Box 44486-00100, Nairobi. 3. by sending a scanned/photographed copy of your birdlist to the Kenya Bird Map. 4. By posting a photocopy of your birding notebook page to the Kenya Bird Map.
