Once again, are you bloody KIDDING? Jeremiah 29:11 tells us "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Since when can we attain this for ourselves? And "only you can save yourself" seriously if we could save ourselves, then why, tell me WHY Jesus suffered, shed His Blood and died on that Cross? For lack of anything better to do?! If we could save ourselves then Jesus died in vain. But we cannot save ourselves, so Jesus who loves us THAT much, took that horrific punishment for us. And our dreams for our lives should align with what God has for us. Just because we want (or think we want) something, does not necessarily mean that is what is best for us. We see our lives through a tiny lens, God sees the big picture. He sees where we have been, where we are and where we are going. And He has NO problem derailing our dreams if they are not what is best for us- trust Him and let Him give you His best...
