Once again the Jehovah Witnesses just left. They wanted to hand me something saying they just started a new website. I said I will trade my paper for your paper. The answer came back “Oh No!” I said why not, all it is, are Scripture verses with no comments. Answer came back “Well I study real hard.” I said may I show you something. I then showed my book of Mormon, two Jehovah Witnesses bibles, and their large JW answer book. I then pointed to Calvin’s commentaries along with some others and said these men wrote centuries ago, and they never taught what the Watchtower Society teaches. I said you have been taught error and you are so programmed that you refuse to take a sheet of paper with Bible verses on it. I was then asked “Well what are you trying to accomplish here are you trying to convert me?” I said I can’t convert anybody, “Salvation is of the Lord” Jonah 2:9. But I am trying to get you to realize the truth which Jesus taught in John 8:24 “For unless you believe that I am He you will die in your sins.” I said do you understand that Jesus’ enemies believed that which you don’t believe. “What’s that” I was asked. They believed that Jesus was claiming to be God and that’s why they wanted to stone Him, and ultimately had Him crucified for it. John 10:33 “The Jews answered him, “It is not for a good work that we are going to stone you but for blasphemy, because you, being a man, make yourself God.” Then in John 19:7 their reason for wanting Jesus dead. “The Jews answered him [Pilate], “We have a law, and according to that law he ought to die because he has made himself the Son of God.” At this point I hear “I don’t want to debate”. I said that’s the point, there is no debate, because Jesus is who He claimed to be. Once again I ask why won’t you take this paper with Bible verses, is it not because You refuse to read the scriptures for what they mean? I know you need to leave, but let me ask you. If a car drove by, and we were shot at, and I was hit and lay here dying. If I was to say what must I do to be saved, how can I be made right with God? What would your answer be? Answer came back; “I would tell you to pray.” I said pray for what? I’m dying and I want to be made right with God! J.W. answer “ I would call 911 and hoped you didn’t die.” I asked may I show you what your own bible says? Very, very cautiously I’m handed the J.W. bible and I said read this for me Acts 16:30-31 “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” 31 And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.” I said how is a person saved, who are they to believe upon? Now read this from Romans 10:9 for me; “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” I asked who do I need to believe is Lord in order to be saved? At this point I heard, “I’m not trying to be rude because it was me who came to your house but I am leaving.” I said I will pray that God will convict your heart of the truth of who Jesus really is, because your soul is at stake.
