Once again the hideous weather HELD OFF till 10 minutes after running club - we instead were blessed with mild, still weather and ALL groups achieved great things today. Welcome to our wonderful new runners, a great handful of you today, plus young ones - so proud of Kaye and her girls. The one thing I want you remember is the words RUNNING CLUB sometimes scare people off - spread the word that we are a different kind of running club (not that we are better or worse than the other clubs, we are just different and I have many friends who run with the other local wonderful running clubs) - I just want people to understand that. I am proud of our RUNNING CLUB but need those that are scared to come and give us a try. My passion is teaching running and providing an environment where people feel comfortable to run to their capabilities whether new or experienced. Mel, one of my leaders would like a special mention to Claire Everett this week who has done brilliantly in the last couple of weeks and did fantastically today. Well done Claire, we are all so proud of you! I have had the pleasure of running with you several times in the last few weeks and I agree with Mel you young lady are doing brilliantly. WEDNESDAY NIGHT RUNNING CLUB THIS WEEK MEET FROM 6.45PM IN THE TURKS 7.15 PROMPT TAKE OFF.
