But ever the optimist, I have been confident that the Municipality will get things back to normal soon. However, we have just been informed that the refurbished water pump that was en route to Grahamstown from Johannesburg has now gone missing. Please people, I appeal from the bottom of my heart, if you are travelling between Johannesburg and Grahamstown and happen to stumble across a huge water pump that feeds our main dam, that you please return it to its rightful owner. I mean really, this is not something that you will be able to connect to your garden tap. How does one lose a water pump that feeds an entire city?
