Once again we have missed our window of opportunity. Shinseki is gone and nothing has changed. The politicians have offered up the sacrificial lamb to the media and the media has moved on to the next BIG STORY. But nothing within the VA has changed. We do not get many of these windows. Just prior to every election someone brings up an issue within the VA the media makes a big deal out of it for about a week and then it all magically goes away. This is why we have got to get over 690 million supporters. We will never be able to help our Veterans as long as we remain docile and ineffective. When I first got involved in the Tea Party I tried to make Veterans issues one of the groups talking points I was told lets take back the Congress first then we will be able to address Veterans Issues. Then our movement was hijacked by Glenn Beck, Sarah Palan and Ron Paul and Veterans issues disappeared totally from the Tea Party platform. This is why we need over 60 million supporters. We have got to make Veterans issues a major election issue and keep it in the lime light. Every day we delay is yet another day the Department has to abuse more Veterans and their families.
