Once and for All Often our lives seem to move from one mess to another.Just getting out from under one situation, only to be mired in yet another. We feel ashamed of what weve done. Ashamed, we say: How can you Lord. love me? How Can It Be? But when the Messiah arrived, (JESUS) high priest of the superior things of this New Covenant, He bypassed the old tent and its trappings in this created world and went straight into heaven’s “tent” —the true Holy Place—once and for all. He also bypassed the sacrifices consisting of goat and calf blood, instead using his own blood as the price to set us free once and for all. If that animal blood and the other rituals of purification were effective in cleaning up certain matters of our religion and behavior, think how much more the blood of Christ cleans up our whole lives, inside and out. Through the Spirit, Christ offered himself as an unblemished sacrifice, freeing us from all those dead-end efforts to make ourselves respectable, so that we can live all out for God. (Hebrews 9:11-15 The Message Bible) The truth is we cannot make ourselves respectable before GOD. Our best efforts, are lacking, and futile “No one has ever gone up into the presence of God except the One who came down from that Presence, the Son of Man. In the same way that Moses lifted the serpent in the desert so people could have something to see and then believe, it is necessary for the Son of Man to be lifted up— and everyone who looks up to him, trusting and expectant, will gain a real life, eternal life. (John 3:13-15 The Message (MSG) How Can It Be? You are loved: “This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; (John 3:16-17 The Message (MSG) GOD is not pointing a finger, for anyone ho believes in JESUS has been given grace through Christs sacrifice - once and for all We should NOT live by feeling, but rather faith......
