Once high school ends, it’s almost like you appreciate everything that has happened over the years more than you did. You look at things in a different light. You start to miss the morning rituals you had while getting ready for school. You begin missing your morning drives there and the way the light would shine through the trees at the same time everyday on that road you would always speed down. You start to miss having to scrape the ice off your car in the winter. You miss having almost the same exact schedule as your best friend and how you two would always goof off in class. Then, it hits you. You start to think about prom and graduation and how it was the last time you would ever be together with your entire class. It’s the little things that you appreciate the most after they stop happening.
