Once in a life time photo opportunity in Dowagiac!: Back in year 2009 a steam train ran across country round trip between Portland, Oregon and Owosso, Michigan. It went out to rail fest in Owosso. Very rare photo opportunity. Last time prior to that when it ran cross country was in year 1976 when it was painted in Red White & Blue and called the Freedom Train for the countrys 200th birthday. Anyway I filmed that steam train all across Michigan. This is video footage I shot of the Daylight Steam engine passing through Dowagiac, Michigan on July 19, 2009. I was standing at the Division Street crossing when I filmed this. Crowds of people came out to see this steam train as it traveled across country. youtube/watch?v=Jcbr02rGiW8
