Once in a while, a Nigerian comes on Facebook to complain about how other countries treat us with disdain. While some of those rants are legitimate, I must add that we deserve whatever BS we get because our leaders barely respect our humanity either. They do not consider us as fully human and therefore therefore treat us as non sentient. If GEJ had any regard for Nigerians feelings, would he have jumped on a campaign trail less than 24 hours after the Nyanya attack? So what is it about GEJs campaign that could not wait a week? Should he even be campaigning already? Isnt there a timeline for these things? Considering that the incumbency factor is always in his favor, what was the haste about? If his own child had been involved in the attack, would he have gone out the next day to campaign? He knows we will shout and moan as usual but that obviously means very little to him. He knows we will eventually get a life. He knows that we know he is full of shit so why should he pretend otherwise? He knows his respect for us is not what will get him into office. All he has to do is to start kneeling down for prayers and his sins will be forgiven. He is no fool, but he knows Nigerians folly.
