Once living in the woods with a herd of horses, this boy was bought as a colt but then just let alone to run on a farm with little to no contact. He had never been halter broke, and had not seen a farrier since he was young When Stuck intervened he was getting ready to be shipped to auction along with others in a herd he lived with. He would have been prime for meat dealers as he was a chunky horse. Stuck loaded him and his herd mates into a trailer and took them to our farm for rehabilitation. Then along came a woman experienced with horses looking for her next equine partner. She fell in love with Shamus She loaded him in her trailer and took him home. Now Shamus lives happily with her and was even part of her wedding with pics of her in her wedding dress proudly riding him on her special day. Another happy ending for a beautiful horse.
