Once upon a time I was a beginner. I had never been to a gym. I didnt know what to eat to build muscle. I didnt even know I SHOULD build muscle to lose fat. I remember the flabby inside of my knees and the jiggle thighs I had. Why were they like that? I did my exercise in my room every night but did I know what I was doing and why? No! I thought pushups trained my back. I did pull-ups HALF way only (chin ups) and only the top part. I thought I had to work out doing 500 situps every day. I thought CARBS were what I should eat because PROTEIN was the fattening food. Where did I get that idea from? Dont know! Turns out I had it going for me because I SEARCHED for information. I went to the library and borrowed books. I watched people in the gym and mimicked what they did. The point is dont be worried you are maybe doing something a little less perfect than everyone else. Feeling insecure at the gym? Its NORMAL! We ALL go through these stages! And you know what? When I work out at gyms I dont usually work out at I feel a bit intimidated too because its not my territory and the unwritten local gym laws I have no idea of! Check out my beginners guide to get a better start than I did! fighterdiet/fd-detox-fitness
