Once upon a time, the relationship between God and man was so - TopicsExpress

Once upon a time, the relationship between God and man was so strict that God had a place for man to meet with Him. Holiness was a high attainment which very few possessed. Thus, God met with man through such men as could attain holiness, in a set place; the tent of meeting or the holy of holies of the temple. Then Jesus came and died and all that changed! The Law was made complete by grace. So we all have grace today. As many as seek this grace will recieve freely, and with it a new identity; the righteousness of Christ. So that we no longer bear semblance to the fallen Adam but the risen Jesus. That is awesome! Know why? The fallen Adam was chased out of Gods presence but the risen Christ ascended to be forever with the Father! Thus, this new identity provides us, you and I and all who embrace Jesus, with express entrance into Gods presence! We can enter unrestrained and commune with God, face to face! And the beauty of it all is this: we dont need a place because we have been made THE PLACE! Yes! Jesus when He died, gave God a new address! God is no longer confining Himself to the temple alone (building) but has a new address which is the heart of they who accept Jesus, you and I! See! Now we can have God come and fellowship with us like He once did with Adam. What beauty!!! Are you missing out on this? Then you are missing out on lifes most vital and most rewarding experience. But you dont have to anymore. SAY THIS (and mean it) Lord Jesus, I admit that I have wronged you. I am truly and deeply sorry for the way Ive lived my life up till now. I detest all that and reach for you today, please forgive me and redeem me from my sin and sinfulness. Give me a new life in you, be Lord over my life that I may become a temple fit for your dwelling. If you said that, you are a new being. A fresh sprouting tendril. Reach higher, seek God further in a Bible believing Church. JESUS IS LORD!
