Once upon a time there was a troublesome little boy from a big village known as the meeting place. The little boy use to go about the village causing trouble but one day he left the village and when he returned years later as a young man with a vision to use his new found artistic abilities to help other. Especially troublesome youth who are were just like him. The little boy now a young man started to work around the village helping villagers and being a mentor to other youth. He painted murals around the village and did performances. He traveled across this big village using his art as a form of activism which he called Artivism. One day the young man, with the support of the villagers decided to go and study in the art in one of the big houses in the village. He wanted to learn how to take his artistic abilities further. When the young man made this decision, many Big Houses offered to teach him but there was one big house, it had a funny looking roof that he was interested in. This big Art House in comparison to the others, he knew that if he was to be accepted into the house he would be able to grow exponentially. So the young man with the support of the village was able to be accepted into this Big Art House, with the funny roof but he quickly became discouraged because he realized that he couldnt afford to pay the tuition to attend. But because of all the artivism work that he did before the the villagers gladly gave him gifts of bursaries and awards and scholarships to pay for his admission to study. This once troublesome little boy now turned a young man with an artistic vision was finally able to learn how he could take his abilities further at this big Art house. But while finally attending the big art house, the young man realize many of the villagers who supported him were locked out of the big art house. He realized that the Big Art House actually didnt reflect the village that it was in as it should. The young man also realized he didnt feel accepted in this big Art House as his ideas werent often not supported and after his first term there he felt excluded. The young man at first thought he was the only one but then he began to meet hundred of other attendees at the Big Art House with a funny roof, who also felt the same way he did. So the Young man sought to make a change. He began to put on events and gathering for the villager to be able to come to the space and part take in what the Big Art House had to offer. The young man also supported other like minded individuals like himself and started to see a difference in the demeanor of many of the attendees of the Big Art House. But the Big Art House it self was still unmoved. So the young man decided to knock on the doors of the ones who works for the Big Art House and they told him that they were willing to support his ideas and desire for change but the most effective way to make change is by working for the Big Art House instead of against it. But they told him in order to work for the Big Art House the majority of the attendees have to unlock the door of possibility for him. So the Young man decided to go out and speak and meet the attendees to find out how he could he help them and ask them to be willing. Willing to open the door of possibility for him so he can make things better for everyone in the Big Art House. The Young Man did this day in and day out, for many days, to the point where he was getting tired. But the villagers who knew this young man and have seen his growth and understand his plight encouraged him to push on. So the Young man took that encouragement and continued to push on. While pushing the Young Man realized that in the midst of trying to make a change in the Big Art House, he was actually making a change in the attendees. The Young Man realized that his journey to this point was meant for a moment like this. For a moment to really use his artistic abilities to help others. So he created advertisements to make people feel good. So he wrote and perform poems for them, made a short video for them and even wrote a story for them about them. The young man thought a lot about all that he was doing to make a change and began to notice the change that was occurring within him. This change he was feeling made him glad. It made him forget about being stressed about little things and it made him want to spread that new found joy to others. The young man realized that the greatest change he can make is it to make people happy. So the young man now walks with a prep in his step and a smile on his face waiting to see if the all the attendees that he spoke to and spread joy to are willing to unlock the door of possibility for him so he can help to create a change-reaction in the BIg Art House and for the rest of the village called, The Meeting Place. The Young Man waits...
