One Another The Bible has many instructions on how we are to relate to one another. This is very important to remember, especially since not all the family of God is living in the same conditions. I have very exciting news, four brothers and sisters from four more Countries have joined the Jump Start the Revival movement. Brothers and Sisters from Jamaica, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand and Uganda bring the total of Countries involved to 25. Christians from 25 Countries around the world coming together in spirit and unity to pray daily for revival. I want to encourage you all to pray for one another and remember that for some of the Brothers and Sisters, the commitments that they have made to share their faith at least once a week means risking their very lives. Please remember this in your prayers and pray for their protection and that God would prepare the hearts of those around them to accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. -NIV Prayer can be such an overlooked or rushed thing, but it is vitally important for the success of any ministry. Please remember to pray for your leaders also. Not just leaders in the government, but also pastors, teachers and missionaries. Any one on the front line of spreading and sharing the Gospel needs the support that only comes through prayer. Leaders, anyone that has influence over others, we need to constantly pray for wisdom and guidance. We also need to constantly pray for those that we have influence over. 1 Samuel 12:23-24 As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by failing to pray for you. And I will teach you the way that is good and right. 24 But be sure to fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you. -NIV Samuel the prophet was addressing the people of Israel after they had requested a king for themselves. He understood that failing to go to God in prayer on behalf of those he led would be a sinful neglect of his responsibilities. It is clear that prayer, biblical instruction, encouragement and to remind those of Gods love and faithfulness are very important responsibilities of those God has placed in leadership. I would like to leave you with a few other passages that deal with how we should treat one another and encourage you to find one area that you can try to better live out towards your Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Hebrews 10:23-25 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. -NIV 1 Peter 1:22 Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart. -NIV Colossians 3:16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. -NIV It is very important to remember we are not alone in our Faith. We all need support and we all need to remember to support one another. Lets all find ways to better love and support one another through prayer, meeting together, encouraging one another with teachings and worship, and meeting one anothers needs. God Bless
