One Boys Wish Since the day he was born six-year-old Dannys family has rescued animals. Danny is accustomed to animals coming and going from his home. Danny has a special fondness for cats. One might even call him the Cat Whisperer. He loves to play with his foster cats and they sleep with him every night. He helps by feeding them and holds them when they need medication. Sometimes Danny gets sad to see some of them go but he knows that they are not his forever. There is one cat that has bee n with Danny for over two years. She is a long-haired, rather robust tortie named Sapphire. Danny often names or gives nicknames the cats that come to stay for a while. From early on Danny chose a silly nickname for Sapphire...and that was Poopy. For reasons only Dannys heart knows Poopy became Dannys favorite. The extra large feline spends most of her days, as Danny says, lazying around. At night the routine has been for so long that when Danny gets into bed Poopy slowly walks onto the bed and onto Danny. There, as the big cat lays on Danny contently they share a gentle exchange where Danny pets her and Poopy purrs, eyes partly closed. This year Danny asked if he could keep Poopy for Christmas. In this video taken today Santa wrote Danny a letter...
