One Dead As Egyptians, Bangladeshis Clash In Kabad 14 Injured An Egyptian expatriate died and 14 other individuals sustained injuries during a public brawl among 30 Egyptian and Bangladeshi expatriates in the Camels Market in Kabad area, reports Al-Seyassah daily. According to security sources, seven unidentified individuals sustained severe injuries and have been admitted in the Intensive Care Unit in critical condition. They revealed that 20 securitymen and 10 ambulances were dispatched to the location when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the fight. Securitymen exerted efforts to settle the unruly quarrel. Paramedics referred the injured brawlers to Jahra, Farwaniya and Sabah hospitals. A case has been registered to investigate the cause of the quarrel. In another incident, a Kuwaiti youth sustained an eye injury after engaging in a public brawl with some compatriots in a commercial complex in Salmiya, reports Al- Seyassah daily. Eyewitnesses revealed two Kuwaiti youths accompanied their sister while shopping in a commercial complex. After some time, an altercation took place between their sister and a Moroccan woman who was with two Kuwaitis. This was followed by a fistfight between the two groups, causing eye injury to the youth. Officials of the complex called Operations Room at the Interior Ministry which dispatched securitymen and medical emergency workers to the location. They settled the dispute and referred the victim to Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital. All those involved in the fight were referred to the police station to take legal procedures against them.
