One KarmaYogi meets another KarmaYogi !! We can’t find - TopicsExpress

One KarmaYogi meets another KarmaYogi !! We can’t find Krishna in Kalyug, but we strongly believe that we all have God inside us. Some are awakened and some needs awakening, some have different means of practice. Here, we will refer Dharma as being righteous. Tulsi Gabbard is one among all these Karma Yogis, who is working strongly to create space for the age old strong ideology that is Bhagwad Gita and Hinduism. Another person, whom I call Karma Yogi is Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India met many US politicians during his New York visit. On his visit he met a US politician of special interest- Tulsi Gabbard, the first ever Hindu-American Congresswoman. Tulsi Gabbard is an American politician, who was born on 12th April, 1981. She has been the United States representative for Hawaii’s second congressional district since 2013 and is also the Vice-Chairperson of the Democratic National Committee. Being the first female combat veterans in the United States Congress and has served the Honolulu City Council along the Hawaii House of Representatives. She was the youngest women to be elected to a state legislature in the United States. She is currently a Military police Company Commander of the Hawaii Army National Guard and has served on two deployments in the Middle East. The 33 year old US Democrat Congresswoman took her oath on Bhagwad Gita. Tulsi Gabbard spoke to the Prime Minister after his victory in the general elections and congratulated him and his party (BJP). She was involved in planning the visit of the PM to US and she met two BJP leaders- Vijay Jolly and MP Rajyavardhan Rathore last month to plan the PM’s visit. She calls herself KarmaYogi and she confirmed that when I met her in Atlanta in August 2014. She vocally criticized the arrest of Indian Diplomat Devyani Khobragade in last December saying that she was disappointed when she came to know regarding the initial treatment of Ms Khobragade by law enforcement officials and said that even as the diplomats uphold the US law, they should also be given dignified treatment. She said that Ms Khobragade’s arrest should not come in between the essential partnership between the two nations. Gabbard met the Indian Prime Minister in New York where she called the Prime Minister to her Hotel and greeted the guest with a garland. She presented him the personal copy of Bhagwad Gita possessed by her, saying that it was the sign to represent her love for India. The Bhagwad Gita was the same that she had in her hand while taking oath in the US House Of Representatives. She said that the Gita, she gave to the Prime Minister was with her since childhood and is happy to give it to the Indian Prime Minister because it is said that the greatest gift that can be given to someone is that which is of greatest value to us, it’s like a personal sacrifice to give up something which is very dear to you. So presenting the Bhagwad Gita to the Prime Minister is her way of showing love for India and for the Indian Prime Minister. When you give your prized possession to someone else, then you must be having trust in that person, that he will take care of her asset. Narendra Modi is also a staunch believer and implementer of principles of Bhagwad Gita and he can’t be honored with anything else. She said that it was great to hear his message of peace and friendship at the New York’s Madison Square Garden. She said that it has made a commitment to lead the congressmen to pass a resolution to support the Prime Ministers Appeal to UN to allocate an International Yoga Day. During the meeting the two spoke of the priorities shared by India and the US and about how they can help to improve the relations between both the Nations. They spoke of the threats caused by the ISIS and Islamic terrorists and about environmental concerns that what can be done to protect the environment. They also talked about the economic opportunities as how they can increase the economic power of the nations. Meeting of these two great Karma Yogis and believers of Bhagwad Gita can definitely work out something good for the people standing for righteousness. Tulsi Gabbard can gain support and good impact on people’s mind after having meeting with Narendra Modi and for India, she can be a good supporter in the US Congress. Most of the US Senators and congressmen/women who published their pics with Narendra Modi saw increase in their twitter followers and fans on other social media sites. This probably never happened before where a leader from other country helped local law makers to gain popularity. Just like in blog we talk about Back links, this will be Modi’s back link for India. Creating a team of well wishers and like-minded people inside US Senate/Congress this way, will go long way and future decision making process that affects India. This is true diplomacy of a leader who is able to see things way in advance and implement the action now to make it happen !!
