One More Word Before I Go to Bed--- Increasingly, it seems, I get this feeling that I am in a dream. I cant believe whats happening in my country is really happening. I feel like I am in a somnambulent haze when I hear people calling genuine terrorists murders like cutting the head off another human being workplace violence. The level of self deception is surreal. Only two things keep me grounded and remind me that Im really not sleep starved: 1) Gods Word predicted this. Isaiah 5:20 says Woe to them that call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put sweet for bitter and bitter for sweet. Jesus said that in the last days because of the increase of wickedness, the love of many would grow cold; 2) I wouldnt feel such righteous indignation if I were sleep walking. Despite these two affirming realizations, its still frustrating and hard at times. Its then I understand, as Dylan sang, these times, they are achanging and I cant go back. I must steel up with solid, Christ filled zeal and be prepared for whatever might come my way, remembering the repeating refrain in the hymn All the Way My Savior Leads Me where it says He doeth all things well. youtube/watch?v=BEOtFEs0Jos For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain.---Philippians 1:21
