One Nation Under God Will we stand idly by and do nothing? Not - TopicsExpress

One Nation Under God Will we stand idly by and do nothing? Not only did our Lord and Savior die that we might have life and life abundant, but millions of Americans have fought, sacrificed and died to provide freedom and prosperity for us and our progeny. Prov 11:9 The hypocrite with his mouth destroys his neighbor, But through knowledge the righteous will be delivered. We The Called are called to take a stance, to speak up. This call is not to offend. However, it is becoming all most impossible to open one’s mouth with any sense of reason, logic and truth, that many are not offended. People, who are so easily offended, become focused on their offense, and are completely unable to hear and understand anything else from that point on. Yet, those who have been given the Oracles of God must speak up in this perverted, politically correct society. We need not to attack the person, but their argument. We can disagree without being disagreeable. Two of our Founding Father’s principles were freedom of thought and freedom of expression. But political correctness and a fear of rejection muffles and keeps people from discussing important issues while the fabric of our personal relationships, the fabric of our homes and the fabric of our society is being destroyed. We need to start talking about the issues and concerns between individuals and nations. Someone said, “great minds discuss ideas, weak minds discuss people.” Our nation reminds me of Nero who played his fiddle while Rome burned. Entertainment, leisure, inclusiveness, “I am ok, and you are ok” is the tune the ears of our citizenry while America is in a slow burn. Prov 14:33-34 “Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people.” Our nation, our world is in grave trouble because her eyes have been blinded and her heart hardened. 2 Cor 4:4 tells us that “the god of this age has blinded” the eyes of the occupants of this globe. While Acts 26:18 goes on to reveal to us “the power of Satan” has over this globe and her governments. So if satan is in charge of this world, and we are being muffled by PC and the threat of violence, what is our revolve? 2 Chron 7:14-15 “ if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 15 Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer…” Prayer and Action. Shrugging our shoulders and hoping that something good is going to happen, if we just wait long enough, isn’t going to deliver us. We are to do everything we can do, while besetting the mercies and grace of God. Prayerful action can make all the difference in the problems facing America. The majority of people believe that America is in good shape, having no need to be saved. That lie is the lie that the devil has been spinning for millennium. Individuals are deceived just as 2 Cor. 4:4 stated. For these lack not only truth, but the common sense and wisdom to see the dark clouds of deception has already gathered over our nation. These clouds have been gathering for years, or else this present administration could not have pulled the blinders over the majority of American’s eyes. 1 Thess 5:3-6 For when they say, Peace and safety! then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. 5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. Scripture reveals that there is a clear distinction between those of the Light and those of darkness. Those of the Light need to take an active role in changing the course of our communities and our nation if we are to live up to the motto, “one nation under God.” 2 Sam 10:12 Be of good courage, and let us be strong for our people and for the cities of our God. And may the Lord do what is good in His sight. Shalom vklee
