Well, Peter, there is indeed a salary cap for rookies pegged at P150,000 a month. But even if the PBA doesnt make an exemption of Manny Pacquiao, Kia can still give its player coach whatever salary they agree on since it can simply credit most of the amount to his paycheck as a coach. You see, salaries of coaches are not capped. In fact, they arent even monitored by the PBA. Hope that answers your question.
