One Wise Man once said that “Everything big starts little”. - TopicsExpress

One Wise Man once said that “Everything big starts little”. This wise saying vividly captures my life story. I am of humble background, born on the 26 September 1976 in a small village known as Esu –Wum, Menchum Division of the North West Region of Cameroon. I am the last child of the family. My father, Chi Victor, is of blessed memory. My mother, Chi Lucy Ekange, to the glory of God, still lives on to see what her little boy of yesterday has become. With her prayers, support and encouragement, God has granted her heart’s desires to be a witness of the goodness of God in my life. It is a truism that the destiny of a man is ordained by God Himself not man. So no man should think he/she can stop another man’s sun from rising. Therefore when God says that you shall be great, it doesn’t matter what any other person says or thinks. Upon completion of my primary school studies in 1989 in Government Primary School Esu, I could not pursue further education because of financial constraints, and so decided to learn motor electricity. Even there I could still not graduate because I was in financial constraints. I then decided to travel down to the South West Region to look for a job. I got one at the house of Honorable Efite Andrew, currently the Assistant General Manger of the Cameroon Development Corporation (C.D.C), as a House Boy. As an aspiring young man, I learnt that personal improvement and fulfillment in life comes through the continual process of learning from both positive and negative experiences. In fact, life is a learning experience. While serving as a houseboy, in August 1999, I decided to pay my senior brother at Mutengene a visit. Boarding a taxi from Tiko, I alighted at the big round-about at Mutengene, and decided to walk up to Buea road. A few minutes later, I saw a large crowd gathered around Buea-road. Out of curiosity, I decided to get closer in order to find out what was happening there, and then noticed that it was a Christian crusade. On the pulpit was a preacher. Suddenly he pointed at a man in the crowd and said to him, “You were accused of witchcraft” and the man confirmed. Thereafter the preacher looked at another woman and said to her “You are having problems with your stomach”. The woman, sobbing, confirmed this. The preacher then, turned and looked down where I was standing and asked me, “can I talk to you?” The person next to me asked if it was him and he said, “no”. I therefore stepped forward and the preacher came down from the pulpit and said to me, “You are a believer, and God is going to use you mightily. You’re going to be very great and famous Prophet. You will be known all over the world”. I was asking myself, “what is happening here?” What is this man saying? Is he out of his senses? I told myself that if only he knew the man he was talking to was a house boy, he would not say those things. Then, I concluded that he was a fake preacher, and hence my decision to walk out of the crusade ground instantly. The way and manner God Alimighty executes His plan in our lives differs. When God is executing his plan in our lives He also designs and arranges events which will continue to unfold untill His purpose is revealed. Joseph’s journey from the dry pit to the throne was as it should be by divine arrangements. Daniel did not overcome in the lions den by his own power and might. “Hebrews 11:32” What more shall I say, I do not have time to tell you about Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, Samuel and the Prophets who by faith conquered Kingdoms, administered justice and gained what was promised. All these Biblical characters, if God was not their source, they would have ended up as one of the never do wells in their communities and lived out their days unnoticed, uncelebrated, and in obscurity. I am what I am today by His grace. Many of us have made plans in the past which we consider to be error proof but before we know it, time and chance expose the weakness of the plans. Our experiences in both private and public life do not always agree with our aspirations, prospects, and probabilities. What we get does not always conform to what we hope to get.We do not always have it the way we expected it. That is the wisdom of God. God’s wisdom seems to work against common sense. God has purposefully kept us in the dark concerning future events. No one knows by the present signs or situation what the future holds for him.We have no control over what becomes of us the next day. Nobody knows tomorrow but God knows.Where He leads, He guides and where He guides He provides. He will never lead you where His grace is not sufficient to cover you. He often brings good out of bad and promotes the design of his providence even by the sin of men. This means our troubles promote our blessings. Beautiful things happen at difficult times. Those whom Christ intends to honour, He first humbles in order to prevent them from becoming conceited, proud when eventually honour comes. If you have not tasted hard times you will not be able to manage good times when it finally comes. If you have not tasted humiliation, you will not be able to manage honour when it finally comes. Joseph was to be the source of freedom for his people. He had to taste dry pit, slavery, imprisonment for a better future. Peter was to be the source of blessing for his people. He had to taste poverty, disappointment, hardship at the sea side for a better future. Whatever I have gone through in life is part of the event that will reveal Gods purpose in my life. I count it all joy to have gained the neccesary experience and maturity to handle the responsibility given to me. I thank God for the life of my mentor Senior Prophet T B Joshua whom God has used to show me the future of my present commitments. He is my mentor, my father, in fact, he’s a major prophet of this generation. I thank God for his life. May the name of the Lord God Almighty be praised forever and ever, AMEN.
