One amazing part of my lifes work is hearing success stories from former students who are changing lives every day. Here are excerpts from two I received recently: Had my first tenure committee meeting...First thing my dean said in the meeting: It was clear in every single class and rehearsal that you received superior training in how to teach. We havent seen a first year college teacher teach at your level, and then we realized your first degree was in music education. Grateful every day for the training and guidance I received at CSUF. Thanks for making me the teacher I am today. And also this one: ...thank you for pushing me in Practicum and teaching me how to be a teacher as silly as that sounds. Everything that came from your mouth last year has left me feeling so much more prepared for being in front of students. I am definitely stumbling still but I do feel prepared to walk into the classroom and in those rare instances where my Master Teacher has to leave I can improvise and remain the teacher...I just wanted to send you an email and let you know how much I appreciate you and the way you teach us teachers. I am truly the luckiest man in the world. I teach the best students at one of the best Universities in the country.
