One arm Pull-Up progressions - happy with your pull-ups? If so it - TopicsExpress

One arm Pull-Up progressions - happy with your pull-ups? If so it is time to look at progressions - using a towel is a great way to build the required strength and stabilisation to perform a complete one handed pull-up. Again principles are based on length of levers, the further you move the hand down the towel the less support is provided to the pulling arm making it harder. The higher the hand is the closer it becomes to a normal pull-up. As demonstrated you can bend the arm to make it easier or extend the arm to make it more challenging. Keep the core engaged throughout and look to drive the elbow down to the torso as if crushing a tennis ball in your armpit. As you fatigue, firstly bend the arm, then move your hand further up the towel enabling you to complete all exercises with good form. Add in L-Sits to the pull-ups to make it even harder! Finish with two handed under arm pull-ups. #letsdosomepullups #progressions #goodform #calisthenics
