One average 12 oz. can of soda contains ~40 grams of sugar. That’s twice the sugar I recommend during an entire day. And, studies show synthetically-sweetened “diet” drinks cause even more weight gain than regular, sugar drinks. Synthetic sweeteners are also linked to brain and organ damage. Please choose healthy alternatives such as the juice of a lemon, your favorite herbal tea, or a little raw apple cider vinegar with 2 drops of liquid stevia in a reusable glass container. Or, enjoy a kombucha or kefir, with 1/10 the sugar of soda per ounce, great taste plus probiotics and other nutrients.
